Deri Washington, an experienced and imaginative interior designer, places a strong emphasis on service in her work. She obtained her interior design degree from Ashworth College in Norcross, Georgia. In 2009, Deri, along with her husband Alexander Washington, founded their own interior design company, Tranquil Designs, LLC. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Deri excels at visualizing her clients' needs and transforming their visions into reality.

Her passion for design is evident in her belief that transforming someone's space has the power to change their life.
Both Deri and her husband, Alexander Washington, share a commitment to community service. They've implemented a program within their business aimed at giving back. Annually, Deri Washington selects a nonprofit organization in their community to support. Her commitment to giving back was acknowledged in 2015 when she received a certificate of recognition for her outstanding contributions from the Pregnancy Resource Center of the Poconos.

Meet Akilah, she was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Syracuse University where she graduated with a bachelors in History & African American Studies and received her Master in Business Administration from Strayer University. Akilah’s journey took an unexpected turn when she discovered her true calling while working on designing rental properties. What started as a creative outlet soon became a profound passion for transforming spaces into livable art.

Akilah’s design philosophy revolves around infusing a modern twist into every project. She believes that design should not only be visually appealing but also enhance the functionality and livability of a space. With a keen eye for detail and a love for contemporary elements, Akilah brings a unique perspective to every project she undertakes.

Her transition into the world of interior design reflects her unwavering commitment to following one's passion. Akilah's clients not only benefit from her expertise but also experience the joy of living in spaces that seamlessly blend functionality and modern elegance.
