Deri Washington is the CEO and Principal Designer of Tranquil Designs LLC, a full-service residential and commercial interior design and design-build firm. An experienced and imaginative designer, Deri leads with a strong emphasis on service, excellence, and intentional design.
She earned her interior design degree from Ashworth College in Norcross, Georgia, and in 2009, alongside her husband Alexander Washington, founded Tranquil Designs, LLC. Since its inception, the company has become known for its professionalism, attention to detail, and client-centered approach.
Deri is recognized for her ability to interpret vision, understand lifestyle, and translate both into thoughtfully designed spaces. Her work is rooted in the belief that transforming a space has the power to transform a life—not just aesthetically, but emotionally and functionally as well.
Beyond design, Deri and Alexander share a deep commitment to community impact and service. Tranquil Designs operates with a giving-back initiative embedded into the business model, supporting nonprofit organizations annually within the community. In 2015, Deri’s dedication to service was formally recognized with a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Community Contributions from the Pregnancy Resource Center of the Poconos.
